Pop up Drop In Portrait Studio with PicStory Belfast

“The Commons People” – a new photographic and storytelling project in The Commons by the @PicStoryBelfast team.

PicStory Belfast is coming to The Commons this Saturday 5 September, 1pm to 5pm!

For the past three years, PicStory has been based at 2 Royal Avenue, building a powerful and ever-growing collection of portraits and personal stories from people across Belfast and visitors. This year, we have brought PicStory into the Ulster Museum for two special late-night events, shining an even brighter spotlight on the people and stories that make our city so special.

Come along, get involved and have your portrait taken while sharing a little of your story. Tell us where you are from, what brought you here, what matters to you or simply something you would like people to know.

PicStory is a celebration of Belfast in all its energy, character and diversity. It captures the experiences of the people who live here and creates a unique, living record of the city through the eyes of its people. Every portrait adds to this vibrant archive, and every story helps reveal what makes Belfast such an exciting and extraordinary place.

The session is free and open to everyone. Whether you have taken part in PicStory before or are discovering it for the first time, you are warmly invited to join us. No booking is needed, so drop in at any time!
